The BI ExacuTrack™ passive GPS system is a hybrid of proven technologies, including radio-frequency electronic monitoring, GPS, precise mapping software, and the Internet. Together, these technologies provide a system that reliably and accurately logs an offender's movement each day.
BI ExacuTrack uses a radio frequency receiver, which is located in a base station, and transmitter worn by the offender to detect the presence and absence of an offender at his or her residence. In addition to radio frequency monitoring, BI ExacuTrack uses a GPS tracking unit to record the location of the offender while the offender is away from home.
Key features:
- Officers access downloaded client information 24x7 from any web-accessible computer
- Officers can quickly and easily view their entire caseload at a glance, enroll offenders, set offender schedules, create inclusion and exclusion zones, customize alert notification and alert escalation procedures, and close alerts.
- Zones can be drawn in any shape and size and are color coded when created and viewed within reports.
- Officers can define multiple zones and schedules per offender.
- The system also supports varying user-levels and settings for agencies and officers.
- Officers can also use a Pocket PC to access the ExacuTrack software.
Devices running Pocket PC 2003 operating system or the Windows Mobile 5.0 operating system, with internet access, and Pocket Internet Explorer or Opera Mobile Browser, can view their caseload, view and close alerts, and send text messages to the tracking unit.
